Monday Motivation- Don’t Give Up

You could easily give up. Or you could plan your attack each night and rule the next day working to accomplish your dreams. Dreams are tough to make into reality. But no one said it was going to be easy.

My dream was to become a Paratrooper in the finest Airborne unit in the world. The famed 82nd Airborne Division. I had already been in the Army for ten years when I decided to go to Airborne School. I had been told no so many times over the years that I got used to it. But I went to school and on May 17, 2004 I became a Paratrooper in the 82nd. It was extremely tough, but it was the best years of my career. Nothing will ever come close.

So you see, no matter what I never gave up on my dream. No one is going to want it as bad as you. No one is going to work as hard for it as you.

So don’t give up.

  1. Hey there, I found you via the NaBloPoMo blogroll.

My dream – or the number one thing on my bucket list until recently – was to be winched from a helicopter. Then I saw the opening to this years Survivor, where Jeff Probst was standing on a helicopter skid while it banked, and I was captivated. I do not know if it is possible to do this at all but I would like to find out. 😉

As part of NaBloPoMo I try to comment on as many participating blogs as I can, and I also add participating blogs to my feed reader.

So I’m just dropping by to let you know I’ve added your blog to my feedreader, I’m reading you loud and clear, I have a link up going at my place so my readers can find participating blogs which you are more than welcome to add your blog link to.

Looking forward to seeing your posts, and you’ll likely see me drop by again during November.

    Happy NaBloPoMo to you!
